Blue Skies on Mars is a movie about Matthew Quinn, who on the eve of his release from a brutal Martian penal colony, relives the chain of events that destroyed his life. Once a high-ranking enforcer for 1970s Irish mob kingpin Vincent Morrissey, Matt becomes trapped in a violent power struggle with Morrissey’s unstable and sociopathic son, Ritchie. As the criminal world around him grows more dangerous, Matt falls in love with a young French woman named Wendy and decides he wants out of the mob for good. But the Morrissey family does not let people walk away. When Wendy is pulled into their war, Matt realizes every exit is sealed and the price of freedom may be far higher than prison itself.
